I am a non-Mormon woman married to a Mormon manвwhich seems to be a less common scenario in the LDS world. I don't want to make a mistake by leaving everything I have going on for me for him. Become a Redditor and subscribe to one of thousands of communities. There are billions of other girls out there who I wouldn't have issues like this with. Not sure if you are, or not. Maybe there is wisdom behind some of the peculiarities.
Remember she will only try to convert you because she thinks it is in your best interest. I know a non-Mormon guy who married a Mormon woman and has kept her beautiful and desirable, by encouraging her religious involvement, even though he avoided Mormonism himself. First and most importantly, I see major trust issues in your future if you both think the other is brainwashed. Either way, if you have kids and you don't convert, she will divorce you and take your kids away from you and you will be shunned from her community. She will want her kids blessed, baptized, taking temple trips to baptize for the dead, hold the priesthood, a bishop will ask you sons and daughters if they masterbate and punish them if they do, etc. The important part of finding a partner to marry does not, in my opinion, revolve around whether or not you are of the same religion. It won't be easy with the lower salary but it will be better than the alternative.
