I wanted to contrast how different parenting is today from how parenting was back in the 70s and 80s. All our parents should be in jail. Seriously— How the hell are we all alive and well today??? Luck, I think.

This is the seventh installment of stories and photographs from I'll Show You Mine , a book by Wrenna Robertson and photographer Katie Huisman, and by all of the women featured in the book, collectively. To find out more about the book, Wrenna, and why we think this is such an important project, check out our interview with her here. Or, you can visit the website for the book to find out and more and get a copy for yourself. If you'd like to ask the person whose body and words are featured in each entry any questions or have a conversation with her, most of the subjects have agreed to make themselves available here in the comments for discussions with our readers. As mentioned in Wrenna's interview, so many people never get the opportunity to talk about genitals in an honest, open and safe way with others, so we encourage you to avail yourselves of the opportunity, and are so grateful to the women involved for making this kind of conversation available to Scarleteen readers. We're also happy to talk with you as Scarleteen staff or volunteers if you like.

From the Hollywood Reporter :. It was considered uncool at the time to have moral objections to the film, but I always found the movie distasteful. Open and thoughtful, Engelhardt unspools a life story that took root in a strict German immigrant household and blossomed into a Zelig-esque series of adventures as she attempted to break into modeling: partying with Iman, jet-setting with Adnan Khashoggi. This is the international arms dealer who was in the news all the time a generation ago. He was the cousin of the Khashoggi who was murdered by the Saudis. I had doors slammed in my face. Also, please keep in mind that Allen is in bad odor these days because of his inveterate white maleness. Fuck it. Look at her pre modeling photo from the time Allen was dating her.
By Carly Stern For Dailymail. These days, young single women know all too well the feelings of horror and disgust that come from opening up a text from a potential date and finding an unsolicited picture of his genitals. Far from being met with the same shock and revulsion that many women express in similar situations however, the Los Angeles resident was surprised to find that every single one of the men who responded wanted to meet her, with several returning gross and often hilarious replies.
